英語コンテスト、インタビュアーを務めます表参道BTCの清水有紀です。 （懇親会ではベリーダンサーとして参加させていただきます。） 入会して約1年半、初めての全国大会での役員、私自身少しの不安とわくわく感でいっぱいです。 “All you need is laugh!”　笑いのあふれる秋季大会にしたい、それが私たち役員の思いです。 Z非公認キャラクターの“トーストまうす”もこの会を盛り上げるために誕生しました！ 存在感はふなっしーに劣りますが、愛していただけると嬉しいです。 是非、会場を皆さんの笑でいっぱいにしましょう！。懇親会にも足を運んでみてくださいね。 I am Yuki Shimizu from Omotesando BTC and will attend as an interviewer for English Contest. (Also, a belly dancer at the party on Saturday.) As I joined the club about a half and a year ago, who could imagine I would be a member of the national contest committee?Now, I am truly glad to support this national contest with other experienced members. “All you need is laugh”, this is our main focus and what we really want to achieve is to make everyone smile. “ Toast Mouse” was born to accomplish our goal! Although he is too small to be famouse as Fusashii, I am sure that you are going to love it. Let’s attend the contest with us and don’t forget about the party on Saturday!

「日本のトーストマスターズに新たな風を吹き込みたい」 この大会委員長酒井さんと執行委員長伊藤さんのビジョンに熱く感銘を受け、 英語コンテスト委員長を務めることとなりました。 今回の2,014年秋季大会で携わる中で、私達は3つの新たな試みに取り組んでいます。 1つ目は、ホストクラブが存在しないコンテスト運営です。 クラブという枠を超えて、様々なトーストマスターズに所属する優秀な方々にお声がけをし、 屈強かつ若さ溢れるコンテスト運営チームへと仕上がる予定です。 2つ目は、ディストリクト76初のロゴ入りグッズの配布です。 今回の大会では初めてオリジナルTシャツの販売やトーストマスターズロゴ入りトートバッグを配布し、 大会に彩りを加えて参ります。 そして3つ目は、大会コンテスト中の演出です。 今秋はユーモラスなコンテストだけに会場が熱気を帯びるような演出を現在企画中です。 「大人の遊園地」も新たな魅力(アトラクション)無くして、ゲストの心を満たすことは出来ません。 こうした新たな試みにより活況に満ちて史上最高に楽しめる大会となること、これが私の願いです。 全てのトーストマスターズに新たな風の息吹を。 All you need is LAUGH. “New wind blows the toastmasters in Japan” Inspired this words by conference chairperson TM Sakai and executive chair TM Ito, I serve English humor speech contest chair. Through this 2014 Autumn Conference, we extend three new challenges. The One is the contest operation without “host club”. Beyond the club, we asked many distinguished Toastmasters belonged to another clubs, and that would be built strong and youthful operation team with the power of unity. The Second is goods distribution with logo for the first time in District76! We will deliver the tote-bag with Toastmaster’s logo and sale original T-shirts, making more fun with you in the conference. And the third is direction in the conference. This autumn is humorous contest, so we plan the program for the most entertaining in the venue now on. “The theme park of adult” cannot satisfy the guests without new attraction. By those new challenge, the conference will get you to be the most amusing experience ever. That is my wish. The blowing new wind to the all Toastmasters.

Hello District 76! I am Reiko Masui from Tokyo Toastmasters Club! I will be serving you as one of General Main Chairs at the District Fall Conference! I always hope and dream to compete at the district stage, working so hard to breakthrough to the district, but my dream fell so hard this spring. While being downcast, one of my toastmaster friends gave me an opportunity to stand on the district stage!! Not as a contestant, but as a general main chair! コンテスト運営の鉄則その１、キャストは忍者のごとし。コンテスタントより目立つべからず。 コンテスト運営の鉄則その２、キャストはマシーンのごとし。喜怒哀楽を出すべからず。 コンテスト運営の鉄則その３、キャストは社畜のごとし。与えられた指示に逆らうべからず。 なんてことはまったくありません。 酒井大会委員長の慈悲とトリオの熱意のもと、実行委員会は楽しみながら入念な準備しています。 今回のコンテストはいままでに考えつかなかった前代未聞の暴挙にして、空前絶後の大失敗になるかもし れません。 どうせなら、無難な2回転ジャンプより、リスクたっぷりだけどトリプルアクセルに果敢に挑戦したい。 だって、トーストは失敗をする場所。失敗を通してリーダーをつくる場所ですからね。 　キャストが担当する100分間、コンテスタントに最大限の敬意を払い聴衆を全力でサポートします。 ステージの裏側や会場の外側を問わず。 　コンテスタントは一人あたり7分30秒しか出番はありません。 しかし、そこまでの道のりで費やしてきた何万時間にも及ぶ単独練習と仲間との議論をしてきたに違いあ りません。 さらに、ファイナリストに惜しくもなれなかったたくさんの人たちの想いを背にスポットライトを浴びま す。 　170のクラブ、4000人を代表するたったの6人が立てるステージなのです。 みなさん、もし、コンテスタントがうまく実力を発揮できなかったとしても、 惜しみない拍手とともにこう健闘を称えてください。 みなさん、もし、私たちキャストが失敗したら、苦笑いではなく、大いに笑って、 こうつぶやいてください。 　All You Need Is laugh THE RULE 1: Casts should be like Ninja. Don’t stand out more than contestants. THE RULE 2: Casts should work like machine. Don’t show your own emotions. THE RULE 3: Casts should obey like company-slaves. Don’t oppose the given instructions. Of course, they are not true. Under mercy of TM Sakai, the head of the Conference and passion of the Trio, we, the member of the steering committee are preparing for the conference with great fun. This Fall Conference might be a catastrophe without parallel and a disturbance though…We still prefer a risky “Triple axel jump” to a safe “Double toe-loop jump”. Toastmasters is where you can fail and where leaders are made through failures, isn’t it? For 100 minutes, casts will support audience with all their, with a greatest respect for the contestants, regardless of on the backstage or the outside of the venue. Contestants can perform only for 7minutes and 30seconds. However, they must have walked a long distance, practicing for tons of hours and discussing thoroughly with their club mates. Moreover, they perform on the stage under the spotlight with passion of those who couldn’t proceed to the final stage, that only 6 contestants stand on out of 4000 speakers among 170 clubs. Everyone, even though the contestants can’t do their best, praise them with big applause. Everyone, if casts made mistakes, please laugh away, not laugh at, and say; “All you need is laugh.”

「全国大会に参加すれば楽しめる」 　という時代は、もう終わりにしたい。 　本当に一番楽しめるのは、 　「一緒に大会を創りあげる運営だ！」 こんにちは。 会場統括リーダーの児島弘樹です。 今回、私たちは2つの新しい試みによって、 “前代未聞”の大会運営にチャレンジします。 まず1つ目は、会場です。 今回、全国大会を開催する会場は、 「定員758名」という“前代未聞”の大きな会場になります。 そこで、会場をホール（会場内）・ロビー・バックヤード（楽屋）に3分割し、 それぞれリーダーを配置してオペレーションを行います。 2つ目は、運営です。 今回の大会では、運営スタッフのことを「キャスト」と呼び、 ディズニーランドのような“前代未聞”の運営を目指しています。 具体的には、全国大会史上初の「キャストトレーニング」を実施し、 キャスト間に強固なチームワークと効果的なオペレーションを確立します。 後世の人たちはこう言うでしょう。 「全国大会は、2014年の秋季大会から変わった」と。 あなたも「歴史の証人」になりませんか？ あなたと一緒に“前代未聞”の大会を創りあげられることを楽しみにしています。

受付担当 田邊です。 今回は新しい試みとして、秋季大会に参加したい！と思ったときにすぐに申し込みできる仕組みの導入をしています。 エリアコンテストが終わった後、あるいは、ディビジョンコンテストが終わった後、 それぞれの優勝者のスピーチがどのようにブラッシュアップされるのか見たいと思ったらすぐに申し込み！ 大会ロゴをあしらったTシャツ・ポロシャツも用意しているので、 これを来て一緒に "All You Need Is Laugh" を楽しみましょう。 I'm Tanabe working on the registration. From this convention, I introduce a system that people can register the fall conference when they feel to join it. After your area contest or division contest, if you want to see the improved speech of the contest winner, it's time to register! We offer T-shirts and Polo-shirts with a logo of this conference. Let's enjoy "All You Need Is Laugh" wearing these special shirts.

コミュミケーション&リーダーシップ賞実行委員長の今村美和です。 3年前から続いていますC＆Ｌ賞、初年度はドナルドキーンさん、 昨年は日野原重明先生、そして今年の受賞者は、、、？ 心打たれるheart touchingなスピーチという観点を軸に委員会で会議を重ね、選考してきました。 コンテンツ満載な秋季大会を更に盛り立てれるよう頑張ります。

総合司会日本語担当の山内結加里です。 えっ!なに?どうなっているの?? 全国大会の総合司会のイメージをFall Conference 2014で革進します! プロ以上に、華麗にプロフェッショナルにエンターテイメントな総合司会に挑戦します。 そして、実行委員会で多くの工夫とユーモア、演出を取り入れました。 コンテスト会場からイントロ~エンディングまで、 わくわくする「All You Need is Laugh」を一緒に全身で体感しながら、 発信していきましょう☆ 代々木オリンピックセンターでお待ちしています。 I’m Yukari Yamauchi, the master of ceremony for the Japanese language contest. You may ask “Wow! What’s going on here?!” Because during this 2014 Fall Conference, I’d like to change the existing image of the District Conference’s Master of Ceremony completely. I’m going to present to you a gorgeous, entertaining and more professional MC than the other professional MCs! In my ambitious attempt, I suggested a series of unique plans, filled with humor and exciting arrangements. Courageously enough, the steering committee has adopted my suggestions! Let’s work together to make our Fall Conference motto, “All You Need Is Laugh”, become a reality throughout this Conference! I’m looking forward to seeing you at the Yoyogi Olympic Center.

This means that I am in charge of shooting, editing, taking care of lighting and sound effects among many duties. We have come up with some innovative ideas. In order to carry out our ideas out, we need some staff members. We need someone behind the scenes who can support our “bright event”, during the Fall Conference. No particular skills are required, so for all those in for a good, fun time, just come and join us.

日本語のインタビュアーを担当する池田紗綾です。 スピーチだけでは伝えきれなかったコンテスタントの熱い思い!をできる限り引き出していきたいと思っています。 そして、オーディエンスの皆さんの知りたい!を代弁して、コンテスタントの魅力やエピソードに迫りたいと思っております。 コンテスタントとオーディエンスを繋ぐ役割ができるように、がんばります!! 「All You Need is Laugh」を会場全体で体感できるようなインタビューにしていけたらと思います。 それでは、日本語コンテストの11月15日、皆さんとお会いできることを楽しみにしております。 I’m Saya Ikeda, the interviewer for the Japanese Humorous Speech Contest. I will do my best to extract what the contestants could not convey during their speeches. As a spokesperson for the audience, I would also like to focus on the contestants’ attractive characters and include some interesting private episodes as well. In other words, I will be the bridge between the contestants and the audience! I hope I can make you experience this “All You Need is Laugh” feeling through my interview session.
